Asha and Fen come from disparate worlds, though walked familiar paths.
In the skies, Asha was trained to protect realms. In the soil, Fen was trained to protect her people.
Pulled from an ongoing war, Asha leaves her post to help her ailing father in the Sun Realm. Time being of the essence, she must travel through the Uninhabited Lands, despite its many dangers. In the hidden land of Souterrain, Fen labored her entire life to gain a position as a revered Protector. Desperate to finally achieve her life’s ambition, Fen kidnaps Asha, a warrior from above, to demonstrate her value.
When Asha and Fen are forced to journey together through lands both above and below, the two learn that not all is as it seems and that sometimes sanctuary is found in the most surprising of people.
